A point group is a text file that contains a list of COGO points along with some basic commands. They can be used to automate some of the COGO commands such as listing points or doing an inverse.
The example above describes an inverse around Lot 4 and then Lot 5. Just start the Inverse command and instead of entering point names, just enter the name of the point group file (sample2.grp) and the entire inverse will run for you.
Multiple Uses Even though the example above describes an inverse, you could also use it with the List Points command to get a point listing. You could then use it with the included version of Legal-Aid to create a legal description from it.
